Rick Coker (DJ Dallas-the original) I have been in this industry for 20+ years because of the love of entertaining people. I started in 1985 at Louisiana Tech University majoring in music and being a DJ at KLPI FM 89.1 for 3 years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music from East Texas State University in 1991 and have been enjoying performing ever since. Weddings are especially a joyous occasion and I am truly blessed to meet so many different people with one thing in common: song and dance. The show I provide is a non-stop, roller coaster event that includes both young and old, children and adults, and those who have never witnessed a well rounded performance of not just a DJ playing music, but interaction with the crowd and it's special people. Corporate parties, anniversaries, coming of age (ethnic),proms, dances, non-traditional as well as traditional ceremonies and receptions are all my forte' in this industry. The object is to keep the room moving, smiling, and hear laughter the whole night! My joy comes in the form of making memories.
